DC Recycling Systems recognizes six holidays per year. Service will not take place on these recognized holidays.
If the holiday falls on or before your regular weekly collection day, the collection day will be postponed by one day. Friday services are always done on Saturday.
NEW YEAR’S DAY Wednesday, January 1, 2020
- Collection services for Monday and Tuesday, 12/30 and 12/31/19 will NOT be postponed.
- Wednesday through Friday collection service will be postponed by one day.
MEMORIAL DAY Monday, May 25, 2020
- Collection services will be postponed by one day for the entire week.
INDEPENDENCE DAY Saturday, July 4
- Collection services will NOT be postponed and service will be provided on your regular service day.
LABOR DAY Monday September 7, 2020
- Collection services will be postponed by one day for the entire week.
THANKSGIVING DAY Thursday, November 26, 2020
- Collection services on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday will NOT be postponed.
- Thursday and Friday collection service will be postponed by one day.
CHRISTMAS DAY Friday, December 25, 2020
- Collection services on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will NOT be postponed.
- Friday collection service will be postponed by one day
